Northview Depot

#86 is sitting on the mainline with a short train.  When it backs up, it will pass through the yard.

Northview Yard

The depot is behind us.  #2001 is sitting on the West leg of the wye.

Northview Wye Tail Track

All trains leaving Northview turn around on the Wye so they can run forward to Tombstone.

Tombstone Switchback

Boxcab #2008 is on the mainline headed to Redbud.  Frisco Valley is behind us.

The track on the right leads to Brown's Sawmill and the Stansbury Leadmine.

Brown's Sawmill

Named for my friend Rick Brown.  Rick built the water tank and supplied parts for the sawmill.

Rick has a knack for salvaging little parts that come in handy around the railroad.

Stansbury Leadmine

Named for my friend Walt Stansbury.  There is a picture of Walt, Rick and myself on the Train Pictures page.

Frisco Valley

Although this used to be the main terminal of the railroad, only the carbarn remains.

Redbud

 This is Redbud as of April 2010.  The operating water tank was built by my friend Joe Zimny.

More improvements are planned for this area.
