In Memory of Joe Zimny
Gone But Not Forgotten!

My friend Joe Zimny was a fellow Live Steamer, Machinist and Motorcyclist.
Joe passed away on November 10, 2010 at the age of 64.
Joe had many interests, including trains and motorcycles... below are some pictures of Joe and his projects.

Joe with some of the 7.5" gauge, 1.5" cars he built. Joe was a Master Craftsman in wood and metal!

This was the first train that Joe built in the early 80's. It is 10" gauge.
Joe made the patterns for the trucks and cast them with a foundry he built.

In addition to the live steam 4-4-0, he was also building one to run on compressed air.
